Another Sunday Trip : 'Pong Dam' Talwara in Himachal Pardesh 


This time we planed to go a bit further and we choose the destination 'Pong Dam' located in Talwara (HP).

Surrounded by beautiful mountains and turquoise green water really make the sense to travel 115 km through the bike to visit this awesome place.



You can plan the trip from Jalandhar via Dasua-Hajipur-Talwara. As this is the shortest path to the destination.

These picks have been taken during the passing of a village near Dasua.

These picks have been taken near by the 52 Gate of the Shah Nehar Barrage Lake.

These picks have been taken during our small stay at Hanuman Mandir on the top of the hill.

And Finally we have almost there where we have planned for and the landscapes were breath taking.

You can enjoy various water sports here. How ever we do not know about that and during the shortage of time we can not take the ride on it.  

After that you can visit the Shiv Mandir located on the top of  the hill. There are too many stairs to reach the temple and when you reached the temple you will observe that its really worth a lot.

And Now the last but not the least. Our Kazzy which make this trip really awesome and comfortable.

There is a small open cafeteria which serves Fried Fish and Chicken along with drinks. You can enjoy the same with the awesome beauty of nature.

We haven't planned for  the next Sunday yet but certainly we will visit the another landscape.
